Just don’t…

I joined NaNoWriMo this year for real – well I was lured to the site in 2008 by my wife, but didn’t write one single word then.

This year I have done a tad better. Just.

So what the frak was my problem? The age old: “Don’t share what you are working on until you are done.” – I would kill my own efforts by showing them to people as I went along writing. Even if those people didn’t critique my work, it would DIE on the spot as if it couldn’t digest the sunlight/attention. And then I would struggle to resuscitate the poor thing, and give up when what I wrote didn’t match my earlier efforts.

So, I decided that this year I won’t kiss and tell on myself, and just write.
